Abstract

Includes gas adsorption device () in which gas adsorbent () is decompression-sealed by first package () with poor gas permeability, and second package () with poor gas permeability. Second package () is at least partially flexible. Air that is a gas that gas adsorbent () can adsorb is filled between gas adsorption device () and second package (). In this configuration, gas adsorbent () adsorbs air when first package () is damaged, and thus a pressure inside second package () reduces. Due to this pressure reduction, the shape or dimension of second package () changes. Any damage to first package (), i.e., any degradation in adsorption capacity of gas adsorption device (), can thus be determined by confirming this change.
