A luminous means () is specified, comprising a heat sink (), which comprises a top surface () and a bottom surface (), and also two sections (), wherein the two sections () are arranged one above the other, and each of the sections () has a side surface () which runs transversely with respect to the top surface () and bottom surface () of the heat sink () and at which at least one light-emitting diode () is arranged.
