Abstract
A lid () for closing an opening () of a container () comprises a sealing foil () which is sealable to a fringe () of the container opening () and the sealing foil () is formed tearable and/or is attachable tearable to the fringe () of the container opening (). Therefore, the sealing foil () is fixed directly at the lid () and the fixing connection () is formed between the sealing foil () and the lid () more weakly than the intended sealing connection () between the sealing foil () and the fringe () of the container opening ().
