Abstract

A method for removing material between the panels of a foldable blank (), includes the steps of: separating at least a portion of the blank with a contoured line () to define a first panel () and a second panel (), terminating the contoured line at a vertex (V), selecting one of the first and second panels as a trimmed panel () from which material is to be removed, defining a first line (R) that includes a pair of first and second points (P, P) on an edge of the trimmed panel, and removing a portion (A) of the trimmed panel defined by the first line and a section of the edge lying between the first and second points.
