A stationary scanner apparatuscomprises an image scanneroperable to read an item code, an imager attachment memberfixed to the image scanner, a support frameconfigured to support the imager attachment memberin a state in which the image scannerand imager attachment memberare rotatable about a horizontal axis with respect to the support frame, and a support portionfixed to the support frame.
