Abstract

The present invention provides a metal complex containing a cation represented by [(M)(M)(L)(L)][in the aforementioned formula, Mis Ptor Pd, Mis H, Au, Ag, Cu, Hg, Tlor Pb, and Land Lare ligands]. The metal complex of the present invention is useful as a light emitting material of an organic EL device.
