Abstract
The invention relates to a cutting tool for a machine tool, comprising a cutting head (), a shaft (), and a coupling which removably fixes the cutting head () to the shaft (), said coupling comprising a coupling pin () on the back of the cutting head () and a receptacle () in the shaft (), which receptacle is complementary to the coupling pin () and accommodates the coupling pin () when the coupling is closed, comprising a central coolant channel () in the shaft (), which separates into two sub-channels () in the region of the receptacle (), the two sub-channels () flanking the receptacle () in the wall thereof and opening into the flat contact surface () annularly surrounding the opening edge () of the receptacle (), and comprising a flat collar () on the back of the cutting head () having an annular distribution groove (). The tool also comprises at least one coolant hole () connecting the cutting edges () on the cutting head () to the distribution groove ().
