A leadof an electrochemical device includes a lead bodyA containing Al, and a bent metallic thin filmprovided to a tip part of the lead bodyA. The metallic thin filmincludes a thin film bodycontaining Ni, and a plating layercontaining Sn and covering at least an outer surface of the bent thin film body. A specific area of an inner surface of the bent thin film bodyand a surface of the lead bodyA are welded in a predetermined area without the plating layerbeing disposed there between.
