Abstract
The present invention provides a metal plate for heat exchange which facilitates nucleate boiling and is extremely excellent in heat conductivity. In the metal plate for heat exchange of the present invention, a recess parthaving a depth of 5 μm or more and 10% or less of a plate thickness of the metal plate is formed. A crevasse partis formed at least at a bottom cornerof the recess part. The crevasse partis formed by cutting away the bottom cornerof the recess partin the thickness direction. An angle θ formed by one cut-away surface and the other cut-away surface is 90 degrees or less. In addition, the crevasse partis formed by cutting away a crystal grain. The recess partis formed on the surface of the metal plateby pressing a working partformed on a surface of a working rollagainst the surface of the metal platebeing carried.
