Abstract
Provided is a dehydroabietic acid polymer including a skeleton of the following formula (A) as a repeating unit: wherein L represents a divalent organic group. Methods for producing the dehydroabietic acid polymer are also provided. The dehydroabietic acid polymer has high resistance against moisture and water and high impact resistance. The dehydroabietic acid polymer can also be produced from a rosin-derived natural product.
