Abstract
A fluid bearing apparatus includes a housingwhich has a cylindrical shape having a fixing facefor fixing the outer circumferential surfaceof a bearing sleeve, and axial circulation groovesfor bringing both end facesof the bearing sleeveinto circulation on the inner periphery by forging. A groove molding portionis provided on the outer circumference of a rodwhich serves as a forming mold for the inner periphery of the housing, and the circulation groovesare formed by forging with this groove molding portion.
