Abstract
The present invention relates to a power supply module () for an electrical device (), in particular using direct current, the power supply module () including a capacitor-input filter () arranged in parallel on the electrical device (). The power supply module () comprises a means () for detecting the discharge current (I) supplied by the capacitor-input filter () following a short-circuit in the power supply module (). The invention can be used the power supply circuits of automobile electrical devices, in particular the motors of an electric fan unit for creating an air flow in heating, ventilation and/or air-conditioning systems.
