Abstract
A compound useful as a plant activator for activating an endogenous defense system of a plant to control disease damage is provided. A compound represented by the formula: (R)NH—(CH)—N(R)—(CH)—NH(R) (one of Rand Rrepresents a linear Calkanoyl group or alkenoyl group, the other represents hydrogen atom or a protective group of amino group; and Rrepresents hydrogen atom or a protective group of amino group).
