Abstract
In a high load transmission V-belt, a plurality of blocksare attached and fixed to a tension bandextending in a belt length direction in a state in which each of the blocksare arranged so as to sandwich an engagement sectionof the tension bandin an inter-beam clearance portionformed between upper and lower beam portions. An increased amount of change ΔT in dimension T of the engagement sectionof the tension bandin a belt thickness direction due to thermal expansion is equal to or less than an amount of change ΔG in dimension G of the inter-beam clearance portionof the blockin the belt thickness direction while running the belt (ΔT≦ΔG).
