Abstract
Methods for making transgenic plants that are resistant to HPPD herbicides are presented. Polynucleotides other than those fromthat encode resistant HPPD enzymes are enclosed for use in the process of making transgenic plants that are tolerant to HPPD-inhibiting herbicides.
