Abstract
A 1,3,5-triazine derivative represented by the formula (1): wherein R, Rand Reach independently represent a hydrogen atom or a methyl group; X represents a carbon atom or a nitrogen atom; Arrepresents a substituted or unsubstituted aromatic hydrocarbon group; Arrepresents an Calkyl-substituted or unsubstituted aromatic 6-membered heterocyclic group having one or two nitrogen atoms, which may be a condensed ring compound. An organic electroluminescent device comprising the 1,3,5-triazine derivative exhibits low power consumption and long lifetime.
