Abstract

The invention relates to a transport device that includes a revolving transport section having a linear region () and a curve region (), an electromagnetic drive having a plurality of stationary coil elements () and a plurality of permanent magnets (), wherein the stationary coil elements () are arranged on the transport section (), and at least one mover (), which is movably arranged on the revolving transport section () and can be moved by way of electromagnetic forces. A first row () of permanent magnets () and a second row () of permanent magnets () are arranged on the mover (). The revolving transport section () has first coil regions (), which are exclusively operatively connected to the first row () of permanent magnets (), and second coil regions (), which are exclusively operatively connected to the second row () of permanent magnets ().
