Abstract

A sight mount for firearms, consisting of a base plate (), arranged to be fitted onto a firearm. The sight mount is fitted with integrated and split rings and two top ring halves () are arranged to attach a riflescope. The sight ring () is diagonally split () and has planar sides in the vertical and horizontal planes as to make visible the visible the adjustment knobs of the riflescope when in a firing position and to visualize parallel reference lines in the environment, thus providing a sub-conscious perception of the weapons vertical alignment.
