Abstract

A steam turbineis provided with a double-structure comprising an inner casingand an outer casing. A turbine rotor, in which plural stages of moving bladesare circumferentially implanted, is operatively disposed in inner casing. A diaphragm outer ringand a diaphragm inner ring are disposed along the circumferential direction in inner casing. Stationary bladesare circumferentially provided between diaphragm outer ringand the diaphragm inner ring, so that diaphragm outer ring, the diaphragm inner ring and stationary bladesform a stage of stationary blades. The stages of the stationary blades are arranged alternately with the stages of moving bladesin the axial direction of turbine rotor. A cooling medium passagefor passing a cooling medium CM which is supplied through a supply pipeis formed between inner casingand diaphragm outer ring
