Abstract

A polyamide compound containing from 0.1 to 50 mol % of a diamine unit that contains at least 50 mol % of a linear aliphatic diamine unit represented by the following general formula (I), from 0.1 to 50 mol % of a dicarboxylic acid unit that contains a linear aliphatic dicarboxylic acid unit represented by the following general formula (II-1) and/or an aromatic dicarboxylic acid unit represented by the following general formula (II-2) in an amount of at least 50 mol % in total, and from 0.1 to 50 mol % of a constituent unit represented by the following general formula (III): [In the above-mentioned general formulae (I) and (II-1), m and n each independently indicate an integer of from 2 to 18.
