Abstract
In certain embodiments of the present disclosure, a proton exchange membrane fuel cell is described. The fuel cell includes a twin-cell electrochemical filter. A flow of reformate Hand pulse potential are switched between each respective filter cell such that when CO-contaminated His fed to one filter cell, generally simultaneously a pulse potential is applied to the other filter cell.
