Abstract
To provide a connector which is capable of reducing the amount of protrusion from the mounting surface of a substrate, and reducing the amount of exposure of contacts, and reducing a mounting area. A housingis formed by a housing main bodywhich is inserted into a cutout formed in an LED-mounted substrate, and a top plate portionwhich is continuous with the housing main bodyand opposes to a mounting surface of the LED-mounted substrate. The housing main bodyaccommodates a contact portionof a contact, and is formed with a connector receiving portionwhich receives a housing of the cable connector. The top plate portionis formed with a holding portion-receiving portionwhich receives a holding portionof the contact, from an inserting direction DI orthogonal to a direction along which the housing main bodyis continuous with the top plate portion.
