Abstract
An atomizing device (), an inhaler and a method for dispensing a liquid formulation () are proposed. An insert () comprises a cylinder () filled with the liquid, an atomizing nozzle () and a piston (). The piston is moved in the cylinder to pressurize the liquid and force it out of cylinder through the atomizing nozzle in order to generate a spray (). The insert is received in a holder () which is sealed. The insert is moved within the holder so that the sealing () is ruptured before the spray is generated.
