Abstract

An imaging lens includes first, second, and third lens elements arranged from an object side to an image side in the given order. The first lens element has a positive refracting power, and has a convex object-side surface facing toward the object side. The second lens element has a concave object-side surface facing toward the object side, and a convex image-side surface facing toward the image side. The third lens element has an image-side surface facing toward the image side and having a concave portion in a vicinity of an optical axis of the imaging lens. The imaging lens satisfies |ν−ν|<5, and |ν−ν|>20, where ν, ν, and νrepresent dispersion coefficients of the first, second, and third lens elements, respectively.
