Abstract
The present invention relates to the preparation of plant cell cultures belonging to theandgenera and their use in cosmetic, nutritional and pharmaceutical fields. In particular, the present invention regards a selected cell culture of meristematic cells of plants belonging to theandgenera characterized in that it contains an amount of phenylpropanoids greater than 0.1% expressed on the cell dry weight and an amount of hydrosoluble polysaccharides greater than 5% expressed on the cell dry weight, as well as preparations, pharmaceutical and cosmetic compositions or food supplements containing the cell culture.
