Abstract
A lithium ion secondary battery according to the present invention uses a cathode material obtained by mixing a first cathode active substance represented by a compositional formula: LiNiMnCOO(in which≦x≦1.2,≦a≦,≦b≦,≦c≦, and a+b+c=); and a second cathode active substance represented by a compositional formula: LiNiMnCOMO(in which≦x≦,≦a≦,≦b≦,≦c≦, M=Mo, W, 0≦d≦, and a+b+c+d=).
