Abstract

A telephone relaying apparatusreceives a request for connection to a second telephone terminalfrom a first telephone terminal. The connection request includes telephone numbers of the first telephone terminaland the second telephone terminal. The telephone relaying apparatusstores a real number that is a telephone number used in the case of directly connecting to each telephone terminal and a published number that is a number published for a third party as a telephone number of the telephone terminal in correlation with each other. When receiving the connection request, the telephone relaying apparatusmakes a first call with respect to the first telephone terminal, and a second call with respect to the second telephone terminal. In a case where the telephone number, which is included in the connection request, of the second telephone terminalis the published number, the telephone relaying apparatusreads out the real number of the second telephone terminal, and then makes a second call with respect to the second telephone terminal
