The present invention relates to a floor latch () for connecting a vehicle seat base portion () with a vehicle floor portion, the floor latch () comprising an attachment means () and a riser (), the floor latch () providing centering of the attachment means () for clamping the riser () with the seat base portion () or with the vehicle floor portion.
