Abstract

Disclosed herein is an application tool () and methods to use the same. The application tool () comprises two plates (), connected together. At least one of said two plates () comprises a fluid control zone (), which run along the perimeter edge () of said at least one plate (), a displacement zone (), which at least partially separate said fluid control zone () from a containment zone (). A hair treatment composition may be loaded onto the containment zone (). Application of hair treatment compositions through the application tool () according to the invention allows for a precise, non-messy and clean targeting of the hair treatment composition on a hair strand and it is especially useful for highlighting and dyeing compositions.
