Abstract
A mobile phone () in accordance with the present invention includes: a transmission setting database (); a transmission setting section () for registering, on the transmission setting database (), a piece of image data to be transmitted to a data receiving device; and an image data transmitting section () for transmitting, to the data receiving device, the piece of image data registered on the transmission setting database (), the image data transmitting section () transmitting the piece of image data to the data receiving device in response to a transmission request received from the data receiving device. Therefore, according to a data transmission device in accordance with the present invention, it is possible to transmit a desired piece of additional-information-containing data to the data receiving device without forcing a user to again carry out operation of transmitting the piece of additional-information-containing data to the data receiving device, even in a case where the user cannot transmit the desired piece of additional-information-containing data to the data receiving device.
