Abstract

The present invention relates to butyrate producing bacterial strains related to the speciesto be used in the prevention and/or treatment of intestinal health problems. The present invention therefore provides methods and compositions that overcome the problems associated with the currently used methods for administering butyric acid in the treatment of intestinal health problems in humans and/or animals.
