Abstract
A quintuplex mud pump includes a pair of motors (), a crankshaft () supporting five eccentric lobes (), and first and second bull gears (). Each of two pinion shafts () are rotationally independent, and has a pinion gear interfacing with a respective bull gear on the crankshaft (). Five connecting rods () interconnect a respective eccentric lobe and a respective piston.
