Abstract

The invention relates to a neurostimulation system, particularly for deep brain stimulation (DBS), comprising a spatial array () of stimulation electrodes () and an associated controller (). The controller () is adapted to sequentially supply electrical pulses to different subsets of the stimulation electrodes (). Preferably, the controller () comprises a single pulse-generator () and a multiplexing unit () for distributing the pulses to different stimulation electrodes. The stimulation electrodes () may preferably be arranged on probes ().
