Abstract

A voltage converter (), in particular a resonant converter for converting an input AC or DC voltage (U) into an output DC voltage (U). On the secondary side, a first secondary capacitor (CS) is arranged between the secondary partial windings (WS, WS) of a transformer (TR); furthermore, a first secondary full-bridge rectifier (GS) provides the output direct voltage (U), the inputs of which are connected to a secondary partial winding (WS, WS) each of the transformer (TR), resulting, at the input of the first secondary full-bridge rectifier (GS), in a series connection including the secondary partial windings (WS, WS) and the first secondary capacitor (CS). Finally, the voltage converter () includes a second secondary full-bridge rectifier (GS) connected in parallel with the first secondary full-bridge rectifier (GS) for providing the output direct voltage (U), wherein the first secondary capacitor (CS) is connected to the input of the second secondary full-bridge rectifier (GS).
