Abstract

A shutter section (), mounted to a front surface () of a front lens barrel (), is included. The shutter section () has a shutter blade (not shown) that opens and closes an optical path of an image pickup optical system (), an actuator (not shown) that drives the shutter blade, and a case () that accommodates the shutter blade and the actuator and that is provided with an opening () for the optical path. The shutter section () is mounted to the front surface () of the front lens barrel () by stopping a cover-side engagement stopping section () of the cover () and a case-side engagement stopping section () of the case () by engaging them with each other. By these structures, it is possible to provide a camera module that is advantageous in terms of reducing costs and size.
