Abstract
A nozzle boxincludes: a lead-in pipe; a bent pipeconnected to the lead-in pipeand formed so as to change a direction of a channel center lineto an axial direction of a turbine rotor; and an annular pipeconnected to the bent pipeand leading steam to a first-stage nozzlewhile spreading the steam in a circumferential direction of the turbine rotor. In the steam channel lead-in part structure, from an inlet of the lead-in pipetoward an outlet of the annular pipe, steam channel widths Sa-to Sn-in a first direction intersecting with the channel center linegradually increases and steam channel widths Sa-to Sn-in a second direction intersecting with the channel center lineand perpendicular to the first direction gradually decreases.
