Abstract
The invention provides a low cost semiconductor device with which it is possible to easily select IGBT soft shutdown characteristics appropriate to a system. The drive IC () is configured of an output stage circuit (), a shutdown circuit (), a logic circuit (), and an alarm signal processing circuit (), the shutdown circuit () is configured of a resistor circuit () and an n-MOSFET (), and the resistor circuit () is formed by an n-MOSFET (), a resistor (), and a switching conductor (). By switching the switching conductor () of the resistor circuit () among A, B, and C conditions, it is possible to easily select shutdown characteristics of an IGBT () appropriate to a system.
