Abstract

In at least one embodiment of the organic light-emitting component (), the latter comprises a unipolar charge carrier balder layer (), a first layer () and a second layer () which are applied to opposing sides of the charge carrier barrier layer () and are in each case formed of at least one organic material, and two ambipolar injection layers (), which are applied to the sides of the first () and second layers () remote from the charge carrier barrier layer (). Such an organic, light-emitting component () may be operated efficiently with alternating current.
