An oxadiazole derivative represented by the following general formula (G1) is synthesized and applied to the light emitting element, A; wherein Ais a substituent represented by a general formula (Am1), (Am2), or (Am3); each of α, β, and βrepresents an arylene group having 6 to 25 carbon atoms; each of Ato Arepresents an aryl group having 6 to 25 carbon atoms; each of Rto Rrepresents hydrogen, an alkyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms, or an aryl group having 6 to 25 carbon atoms; and Rrepresents an alkyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms or an aryl group having 6 to 25 carbon atoms.
