Abstract
The invention relates to an axle support for motor vehicles, for receiving components of the chassis of the motor vehicle. The axle support comprises frame side members () running substantially in the driving direction, each having at least one cast connection point (), and a pipe section () that adjoins the cast connection point. The pipe section has an at least half-shell form in the region of the connection to the cast connection point.
