Abstract
A control valve () for a device () for altering the valve timing for gas exchange valves () of an internal combustion engine () is provided. A non-return valve () is located within an annular groove () formed on one of the components of the control valve () and pressurized medium flows through the annular groove. The assembly of the device is facilitated.
