Abstract
Setting up and maintaining wireless communication connections with end user's terminals () on board a predictably moving vehicle () is shown with mechanisms for correcting for Doppler effects. A central device () within the vehicle () acts as a hub of a wireless network. There are a number of fixed transceivers (). A connection arrangement () connects the fixed transceivers () to an external packet-switched data network. The central device () within the vehicle () is a mobile router () equipped with routing capability (). The connection arrangement () includes a connection () between a number of fixed transceivers () and a fixed central device () The fixed central device () has routing capability (), and together with the mobile router () implement routing of packets between the packet-switched network and an end user's terminal ().
