Abstract
When viewed from the top of the liquid crystal display panel, a projecting section () of a picture element electrode () is formed so as to at least partially match a contact hole (). It is therefore possible to provide the liquid crystal display panel which achieves a high quality display and has a high aperture ratio and high transmittance.
