Abstract
A medical apparatus () for extracorporeal blood treatment comprises a support structure () housing a hydraulic circuit () located above a liquid collection zone () such that liquid losses from the hydraulic circuit can at least partially accumulate at the liquid collection zone. A liquid sensor () detects presence of any liquid in the liquid collection zone and operates in a distanced position with respect to the liquid collection zone ().
