Abstract
The present invention is directed to a golf club head with an improved striking surface. The grooves are machined into the strike surface with tight tolerances using a profiled cutter. More specifically, the grooves has a radius of curvature Rand a draft angle θ forming a relationship that satisfies the equation R≧(1*10θ)−(3*10θ)+0.003θ−0.0891 to achieve a maximum spin performance.
