Abstract
An ophthalmic imaging apparatus for imaging a subject's eye includes a detection unit configured to detect facts that the subject's eye moves by an amount of movement thereof, which is equal to or more than a predetermined value, and that the movement thereof is finished, and an imaging start unit configured to start imaging of the subject's eye according to a result of detection by the detection unit.
