Abstract

A demultiplexing apparatus includes, in each of n stages, 2FC+RXHBFs that down-sample a signal, from which a high-frequency component is removed after frequency conversion is carried out, and output the signal. The demultiplexing apparatus extracts, from an input signal including a plurality of band signals, the band signals to thereby demultiplex the input signal. The demultiplexing apparatus includes a reception-filter-bank control unit that calculates, based on channel information including bands and frequency arrangement of the band signals, a dividing position on a frequency axis and a frequency offset value indicating a frequency conversion value and instructs the FC+RXHBF, which is set as a target of output of divided signals of the input signal, about the calculated values. The FC+RXHBF carries out frequency conversion based on the frequency offset value.
