Abstract
A nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery includes a positive electrode (), a negative electrode () and a porous insulation layer (). The positive electrode () includes a positive electrode current collector () and a positive electrode mixture layer (), and the negative electrode () includes a negative electrode current collector () and a negative electrode active material layer (). After charging the nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery, when a surface of the positive electrode mixture layer () and a surface of the negative electrode active material layer () are brought in contact with each other, terminals are provided, respectively, on the positive electrode current collector () and the negative electrode current collector () and a resistance value between the terminals is measured, the resistance value is 1.6 Ω·cmor more.
