Abstract

A television PCdetects an advertisement of a program scheduled to be broadcasted from within pictures based on TV signals transmitted by any one of TV broadcasting stations, then acquires program information for specifying this program (S-S), and registers reservation information based on the program information according to an instruction given from a viewer of the pictures in a reservation information management table, thereby reserving the recording of the program (S, S).
