Abstract
A process for producing zinc toluenesulfonate comprising reacting a zinc compound comprising Zn(OH)with toluenesulfonic acid and/or a salt thereof in the presence of an alcohol having 1 to 20 carbon atoms in total at a temperature higher than 60° C.
